Land Use Committee
The HNA Land Use Committee is an integral part of the governance of HNA and is co-chaired by Tatiana Lifshitz and Glenn Bridger, both with many years of experience in land-use issues.
Proposed code changes affecting the entire city and proposed developments affecting Hillsdale are evaluated by the Land-Use Committee and are brought to the attention of the neighborhood and evaluated for further action.

The Neighborhood Associations are provided specific notice and comment rights by the City Code. The HNA Land-Use Committee brings issues to the Neighborhood at the monthly meetings. These issues include, but are not limited to, changes in zoning, setback, environmental mitigation, business use, land development & construction proposals for new and existing buildings.

Hillsdale Town Center Plan (1997)
The Hillsdale Town Center is one of 13 regionally-defined town centers in the Portland Metropolitan region.
The Hillsdale Town Center Plan is the result of several years of effort, first by the Hillsdale Vision Group and later by the Hillsdale Steering Committee. Between 1993 and 1997, these groups worked diligently with local residents, businesses, commercial property owners, public agencies, and private consultants to create a vision for Hillsdale to carry the area into the 21st century. The Hillsdale Town Center Plan contains a vision statement, policies, objectives, and action charts.

Hillsdale Town Center Phased Development Strategy (2009)
This document describes a series of actions to improve the function and appearance of the town center, both in the near- and long-term. Taken together, these physical changes should significantly increase access to and use of the town center. Most were designed to be implemented incrementally and much of the responsibility for implementation rests on the shoulders of the citizens of Hillsdale.
